Air Canada, the flag carrier of Canada, started as Trans-Canada Air Lines (TCA) in 1937. With a Stearman and two Lockheed Electras, TCA took to the skies, with the airline's first flight traveling from Vancouver to Seattle. The flight carried mail and two passengers whose round-trip tickets each cost $14.20CAD, or $176.75USD in today's currency. TCA was renamed Air Canada in 1965.
