From the career history of Captain Charles Marinus Sundby, who served with companies including the Danish Naval Air Service and the China National Aviation Corporation (CNAC): a celebration of his first solo flight on June 21, 1935, at the Avnø Air Station. It was traditional in the Danish Naval Air Service to give the successful soloist a bouquet of wildflowers.
