World Wings International, Inc., a philanthropic organization of former Pan American World Airways flight attendants, conducted a series of career surveys among the airline’s flight attendants in 1990, 1991, and 2012. The surveys resulted in a return of over 500 completed questionnaires that the organization has donated to SFO Museum. With the participants’ dates of employment spanning 1944 to 1990, these documents reveal a broad range of career experiences and unique first person accounts from the women and men who provided cabin service for Pan Am from the post-War air travel boom through the jet age. A selection of photographs of the more than 500 participants are on our website: http://bit.ly/2bGUhwP Image: World Wings International, Diane Winston Porterfield, 1956.
