Angela Gittens began her career in aviation when Airport Director Louis A. Turpen hired her as the Deputy Director for Business and Finance for San Francisco International Airport in 1983. She then went on to fulfil other roles in aviation including serving as the CEO of Atlanta-Hartsfield and Miami International Airports and the Director General of ACI World from 2008-2020.
