This year marks the 70th anniversary of All Nippon Airways (ANA), which began as Japan Helicopter & Aeroplane Transports Company #onthisday in 1952. The airline changed its name to All Nippon Airways in 1957 and merged with Far Eastern Airlines in 1958.
