All Nippon Airways (ANA) began as Japan Helicopter & Aeroplane Transports Company #onthisday in 1952. The airline changed its name to All Nippon Airways in 1957 and merged with Far Eastern Airlines in 1958. The airline has grown to become the largest in Japan.
