Uki tells the story of a child who provides a first-hand perspective of distance and solitude in the frozen world of her home in Utqiaġvik, Alaska. The short film is part of the Pándēmos project, created by filmmakers Luis Aguer and Diego Medvedocky. It was produced in partnership with the film’s director and co-writer Moema Umann and producer Sara Siqiñiq Thomas.
