Our newest gallery, the Kadish Gallery, is now open! Named after Ruth Kadish, SFO’s first female Airport Commissioner, Kadish was a champion of public art at SFO, and gave her full support to launch the SFO Museum and art programs. She was always thinking about how to make SFO a nicer place for passengers. 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵-𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘢 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘯 explores the complex identities and personal narratives belonging to the children of Chinese immigrants. The exhibition features works by Taiwanese American photographer Jessica Chou and Chinese Canadian photographer Teresa Eng, whose projects focus both inwards at the countries of their upbringing, and outwards towards the country of their ancestors. 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵-𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘢 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘯 is located in the secure connector between Terminals 2 and 3, until May 05, 2022.
