Can you believe it has been 20 years? #OnThisDay in 2001, the final Trans World Airlines (TWA) flight departed from Kansas City, Missouri, and landed in St. Louis. Originally formed as Transcontinental & Western Air in 1930, TWA was one of the oldest airlines in the United States and traced its history back to Western Air Express, which was founded in 1925.
