Happy Thanksgiving! Sometimes adorably nicknamed Turkey Day, turkeys have become a symbol for the holiday. During Pan American Airways’ usage of Midway and Wake Islands for transpacific travel, supplies, including this turkey, had to be brought over for the people who worked at the airline’s island guest accommodations. Additionally, the Aviation Museum and Library will be closed until Sunday, when it resumes regular hours of 10:00am-4:30pm. All other exhibitions are open everyday, twenty-four hours a day.
