Marguerite Wildenhain accepted a position as head of ceramics at the Municipal School of Fine and Applied Arts in Halle, Germany, in 1926. She soon established a highly regarded pottery workshop and was approached by the director of the famous porcelain factory Royal Berlin to form a partnership.
