Happy World Penguin Day! Aviator and explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd, embarked on two expeditions to the South Pole, in the 1920s and 1930s! There, he helped make the Paramount film, ‘With Byrd at the South Pole’. His expedition crew also documented their journey in photographs including photographing this lovely pair of Emperor penguins.
