Are you ready for this weekend’s Pride festivities? We are! Don’t miss the four videos in our Video Arts gallery, all of which are dedicated to LGBT themes. A mother’s unconditional love for her daughter is tested in Nancy Cruz Orozco’s story of conflict and reconciliation in “Azul Turquesa”. Katie G. Nelson and Joshua Carlson present the voices of gay and transgender Ugandans expressing what love means to them in “Love Is”. An excerpt from the audio will of gay rights pioneer and San Francisco Supervisor Harvey Milk is featured in “My Name is Harvey Milk” by Leo Herrera. And Ryan Logan and Fawzia Mirza reimagines the plot of the classic Bollywood film Aradhana with a distinctively queer take on the eipc romance in “The Queen of My Dreams”. If you can’t make it to the gallery, all of these videos are available on our website! Visit http://bit.ly/VideoArts Happy Pride! This image was posted on June 21, 2018.
