The second passenger terminal building at SFO was dedicated #onthisday in 1937. Construction of a new terminal and administration building began in 1936 with funds from the Public Works Administration. Built in a Spanish Mediterranean architectural style, it measured 88 feet by 206 feet and featured a four-story control tower. Image: San Francisco Airport, Administration Building, 1937.
