#Onthisday in 2011, the newly remodeled Terminal 2 opened. Completed in 1954 as the Central Terminal, this building was the third passenger terminal to be built at SFO. Terminal 2 has gone through various remodels over the years, including this one in the early 1980s that updated the control tower.
