San Francisco International Airport became the fourth busiest in the nation in 1962. Passenger traffic exceeded 10 million in 1966, and in the late 1960s the airport proposed a master plan. The master plan included the North Terminal (now Terminal 3), Central Terminal (now Terminal 2), and South Terminal (now Harvey Milk Terminal 1) surrounding a multi-level parking garage to make the most out of SFO’s footprint. negative: San Francisco International Airport (SFO), architectural model; 1968 Transfer from San Francisco International Airport 2011.032.1971 https://bit.ly/44NXP7z This image was posted on August 07, 2023.
