The Boeing 707, introduced by Pan American World Airways in 1958, was the largest passenger airplane in operation. The plane carried 111 passengers, 40 in first class and 71 in coach, from New York City to Paris. The next largest commercial jet, the Comet 4, operated by BOAC, only carried from 56 to 81 passengers. Have you ever flown on a Boeing 707? John T.
