This 1943 wartime inflight information brochure by TWA (Transcontinental & Western Air) was given out to passengers flying in their DC-3s. "Vacant Seats on a 'Sold Out' Plane?" explained how vacant seats meant that sometimes passengers didn't show up, the planes needed more fuel, or airmail was a priority. This image was posted on November 10, 2016.
