#OnThisDay in 1937, the second passenger terminal building at SFO was dedicated. Construction of a new terminal and administration building began in 1936 with funds from the Public Works Administration. Created in a Spanish Mediterranean architectural style, it measured 88 feet by 206 feet and featured a four-story control tower. Image: San Francisco Airport, Administration Building, 1937.
