What did SFO look like in 1970? In the Central Terminal (now Terminal 2), National Airlines' and Delta Air Lines' check-in desks were next to each other. After Boarding Area F in North Terminal (now Terminal 3) opened in 1979, National moved to Gates 72, 73, and 74 in the new building. Did you ever fly on National Airlines? Western Airlines, Continental Airlines, TWA, Braniff, SFO Helicopter, and Golden West Airlines were all located in the old Pier F in San Francisco International Airport in 1974.
