Old Time Radio See all the exhibitions.

This nonaviation exhibition was on display between April 1992 and July 1992 in the F-02 North Connector gallery, located in North Terminal

From the collection of Dan Healy, Classic Radio Service. The exhibition looks at the American radio as a decorative art element and as an instrument for communication and entertainment. The radios chronicle America's decor, aesthetic tastes and cultural interests from the 1920s to the 1950s. Consoles, table-side radios, and novelty pieces of wood, metal, and bakelite are included in this comprehensive collection. Radios are exhibited in the context of the house, the studio, and the store. Radio scripts and tapes of actual broadcasts complete the show.
