This aviation exhibition was on display between February 2001 and January 2003 in the F-02 North Connector gallery, located in Terminal 3
Five model aircraft from the former Nut Tree Restaurant and Airfield are on view. The models depict historic aircraft from 1924 to 1932 and include the Douglas World Cruiser "Chicago," the Lockheed Model 5 Vega " Winnie Mae," the Granville (Gee Bee) Model R-1 Super Sportster, the Northrop Gamma 2A "Sky Chief," and the Lockheed Model 8 Sirius "Tingmissartoq." These scale models were scratch built by Eddie Chavez and Bob Fogg.
