Bruce Damonte's SUB:URBAN reveals the simplicity and beauty of everyday life through contemporary abstract photographs of modern urban landscapes. Photographers, like other artists throughout history, ignored convention to create images that were deliberately flat, allusive, and nonreferential. SUB:URBAN reveals an alluring aesthetic of metal, glass, concrete, sky, and tree that are hidden in the complex and dynamic modern urban landscape.
