Architectural Models from the Musee Antoine Brun, Sainte-Consorce, France See all the exhibitions.

This nonaviation exhibition was on display between August 2002 and February 2003 in the G-02 International North Cases gallery, located in International Terminal

Antoine Brun (1822-1900) belonged to one of the prominent landowning families in Sainte-Consorce, a small village about ten miles west of Lyon, France. He seems not to have been interested in farming but rather in wood carving and spent his life carving well-known buildings in the Rhône and then abroad. The exhibition contains fifty-one of Brun's architectural models and reproductions of nineteenth-century photographs, prints, and paintings of almost every building, wherever possible from a probable source, the periodical "L'Illustration."
