A popular transfer-printed design in the Japonesque style was a pattern by Gildea & Walker named “Melbourne”. The eclectic, asymmetrical pattern came in several colors and incorporates a seascape, horizon line, sparrows, bamboo, blossoms, and an owl in the moonlight. #Japonisme
