#KatherineStinson first flew in 1911 and was licensed in 1912 at the age of 21. By 1915, she opened a flying school in San Antonio, Texas, with her sister Marjorie (1895–1975) and brother Edward (1883–1932), both of whom were also accomplished aviators.
