This amusing turn-of-the-century style advertisement produced by Hughes Airwest was featured in an authentic 1879 cable car during the San Francisco Cable Car Centennial. Among the gems within the poster is: "Be reliant upon the all-knowing and steadfast conductor who scientifically guides the vessel and man alike safely to their destination."
