Mohawk Airlines was a regional airline operating in and around the Mid-Atlantic region. Founded in 1945 as Robinson Airlines, the airline advertised 10 years of progress with this 1955 poster. It reads "Three 40-passenger Convairliners will join the Air Chief fleet in June 1955. The Mohawk Convairs, first in local service, cruise at 240 miles per hour with pressurized and air-conditioned cabins for passenger comfort". Mohawk was acquired by Allegheny Airlines in 1972.
