The 1974 TWA uniform by New York-based fashion designer Stan Herman in lightweight wool was part of a popular mix-and-match set worn until 1977. Featured a TAT plane, a Douglas DC-3, and a trijet, the scarf accompanying this uniform, illustrates TWA's history. See this scarf and accompanying uniform in #FashionInFlight, on display, pre-security, in the Aviation Museum and Library. http://bit.ly/fashioninflight Image: TWA (Trans World Airlines) flight attendant scarf, 1974-1978.
