Historic pre-electric lighting devices from the collections of the California Academy of Sciences and The Oakland Museum. The exhibition examines ancient lighting, lighting as tirual, early American lighting, post-war industrial lighting, new innovations in light bulbs, traditional designer lamps, and contemporary and artist designed lighting.
