This nonaviation exhibition was on display between January 1995 and April 1995 in the D-01 Central North Connector gallery, located in International Terminal
From the collection of the American Museum of Natural History, woven textiles of Africa. Created of wool, raffia, bark, cotton, jute, and flax, these pieces of fabric and articles of clothing represent all of Africa. Indigo textiles from Nigeria, garments with talismans from West Africa, and adire cloth with deisgn created with cassava paste starch resist are just some pieces in the exhibition.
