Approximately 300 examples of car memorabilia, mostly from 1900 to 1940, add up to a truly American combination of social history and nostalgia. Included in Car Culture are advertisements, books, games, and sheet music, featuring such songs as "I'll Meet Her by the Parking Meter" and the much better known "See the U.S.A. in Your Chevrolet." Automobile toys, which appeared almost as soon as the first car rolled out of the factory, are the backbone of this exhibition.
