"Science and Technology in California" is a small selection of the many scientists, mathematicians, physicists, astronomers, doctors, and engineers who have at one time lived, studied, or worked in California and have contributed greatly to science and technology. All photographs are from the collection of the African American Museum and Library at Oakland, California.
